How does the age of a Niagara Falls home change the clean?

Niagara Falls is several towns joined over a century. Chippawa was a village by 1849, Clifton and Drummondville became one city in 1904, and Stamford Township joined in 1963. Tell us your neighbourhood when you ask for a quote and the number starts closer to right.

BuiltWhere you find themWhat it means for the clean
1840s and earlier Chippawa, along the Welland River The old village around Cummington Square, where the 1842 town hall still stands. Older floors and trim take hand work. Tell us about any surface you want left alone.
1880s River Road, above the gorge Brick Queen Anne houses like the 1886 Doran-Marshall house, several of them heritage-designated. Tall rooms, stained glass and painted trim, so quote by room count, not floor area.
A city from 1904 Downtown, around Queen Street Homes and apartments around the old business centre. An upper-floor unit means stairs, so tell us the floor and where to park.
Joined the city in 1963 Stamford Bathroom count and a finished basement set the time more than the age does. Tell us both.
Licensed vacation rentals Tourist Commercial, General Commercial and Central Business zones Turnover between bookings. A residential clean resets the kitchen, bathrooms and floors.

Chippawa history from the Founding of Chippawa plaque. Town hall and River Road houses from Canada's Historic Places (Chippawa Town Hall, Doran-Marshall Residence).

Do you clean heritage homes in Chippawa and on River Road?

Yes. Chippawa grew up beside Fort Chippawa in the 1790s, was largely destroyed in the War of 1812 and became a village in 1849. Its town hall on Cummington Square opened in 1842 as a general store. It is the only building on the old square that keeps its original front.

On River Road, the Doran-Marshall house went up in 1886 in cream brick, with wood shingles and stained glass transoms. The City designated it in 1986, and other heritage-recognized houses stand along the same street.

Plaster walls, stained glass and painted trim need more hand work and less water. If a floor has been refinished, or a surface should stay untouched, tell us when you book. A first deep clean from $249 covers baseboards, door frames and grout, and recurring visits from $129 keep it there.

Do you cover Chippawa, Stamford and the old town names?

Yes. The Town of Clifton took the name Niagara Falls in 1881, Drummondville became the Village of Niagara Falls in 1882, and the two merged as a city in 1904. Stamford Township joined in 1963. Chippawa, Willoughby Township and part of Crowland followed in 1970, the year Niagara Region was formed. Plenty of people still give their address by the old name. Same city, same flat prices.

The city grew from 88,071 people in 2016 to 94,415 in 2021.

Can you clean a vacation rental between guests?

Yes, if it is licensed. The City allows vacation rental units only in its Tourist Commercial, General Commercial and Central Business zones, not in residential zones, and it is illegal to advertise one without a licence.

Between bookings, a residential clean from $149 covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors. Book a deep clean when the grout and baseboards need it, and a move-out clean from $279 when a long-term tenant leaves.

Where does Niagara Falls tap water come from?

Lake Erie. It flows down the Niagara River to the Niagara Falls Water Treatment Plant on Macklem Street, which Niagara Region owns, according to the Niagara source protection program.

The Region's 2025 water report gives no hardness number, so we won't guess one. White spots still build up on shower glass and taps between visits. Every residential clean polishes mirrors and fixtures, and a deep clean scrubs grout and tile.

Do you clean the rest of Niagara and Hamilton?

Yes. We have crews in St. Catharines, Hamilton, Burlington and Brantford. Our office is in Guelph. Offices, shops and studios in Niagara Falls can ask for a commercial cleaning quote. The full list of service areas covers all 20 cities.
