How does the age of a Brampton home change the clean?

Brampton was a village in 1853 and became a city in 1974, when it took in the townships of Chinguacousy and Toronto Gore. Tell us your neighbourhood when you ask for a quote and the number starts closer to right.

BuiltWhere you find themWhat it means for the clean
A village from 1853 Downtown, around Main and Queen (the Four Corners) The oldest streets in the city. Tell us about original floors and trim; they take hand work.
Heritage district since 1990 Churchville, in the Credit River valley Modest timber-frame houses, some since re-clad in synthetic siding. Wood floors and painted trim want little water.
Begun in 1958 Bramalea, from the A section north to the M, N and P sections Built in phases, each with its own street-name letter. The G and H sections tried zero-lot-line houses, built right up to one side of the lot.
Begun in 1991 Springdale Family homes. Bathroom count and a finished basement set the time more than the age does, so tell us both.
Since the GO station opened in 2005 Mount Pleasant Newer houses on old farmland. A first clean of a new build finds fine dust in vents and window tracks.

Do you clean houses with a basement apartment?

Yes. Brampton has enough second units that the City publishes a homeowner guide to them. It lists the names you hear: basement apartment, in-law suite, two-unit dwelling. A second unit is a self-contained home inside a detached, semi-detached or townhouse, and the City requires you to register it.

Tell us when you book whether we clean the main floor, the second unit or both, and whether the unit has its own entrance. Each unit has its own kitchen and bathroom, and those two rooms set the time. Landlords between tenants can book a move-out clean of just the unit. It starts at $279 and covers the inside of every cabinet, closet and drawer, plus the oven, fridge and range hood.

Do you clean in Bramalea?

Yes. Bramalea began in 1958 as Canada's first suburban satellite city. The builders went section by section and gave each one a letter. They finished with the M, N and P sections south of Bovaird Drive, so the first letter of your street tells you roughly when it went up.

If you just bought in one of the early sections, start with a deep clean. From $249 it covers baseboards, door frames, cabinet fronts and grout, and recurring visits from $129 hold it there.

Do you clean heritage homes downtown and in Churchville?

Yes. Churchville sits in the Credit River valley. The City made it a heritage conservation district in 1990, one of the first in Ontario, and it is still Brampton's only one. Most of its houses are modest timber-frame buildings.

Downtown grew up around the Four Corners at Main and Queen. Brampton took its Flower Town name from Edward Dale's nursery, started in 1863, which grew to 140 greenhouses. If a floor has been refinished or a surface should stay untouched, tell us when you book.

Do you clean new builds in Mount Pleasant and Springdale?

Yes. Springdale started going up in 1991. Mount Pleasant grew on farmland around the GO station after it opened in 2005.

In a family home, the bathrooms set the time more than the square footage. A residential clean from $149 covers the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas and floors. Moving into a house just finished? Post-construction cleanup clears the fine dust from vents, sills and fixtures and is priced by custom quote.

Is Brampton tap water hard?

Moderately. Brampton drinks the same Lake Ontario water as Mississauga, treated at Peel Region's Arthur P. Kennedy and Lorne Park plants. Peel's 2025 water quality report puts hardness at 120 to 130 mg/L, or 7.0 to 7.6 grains per gallon.

That is far softer than Milton well water, but white spots still build on shower glass and taps between visits. Every residential clean polishes mirrors and fixtures, and a deep clean scrubs grout and tile.

Do you clean the rest of Peel and the GTA?

Yes. We have crews in Mississauga, Vaughan, Milton and Toronto. Our office is in Guelph. Offices, warehouses and shops in Brampton can ask for a commercial cleaning quote. The full list of service areas covers all 20 cities.
